The Fourth International Workshop on Computational Inverse Problems and Applications, organized by Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shandong University of Technology (SDUT) will be held on July 8-12, 2016 in Zibo city, Shandong Province, China. This conference will cover issues on Numerical Algorithms for Large Scale Ill-posed Problems, Regularization Methods for Inverse Problems, High-performance Optimizations and Applications in Related Fields. It is committed to creating a stage for exchanging the advanced research methods and sharing the latest research results. This conference is also a project of international cooperation between Russia and China.

SDUT was founded in 1956 and located in the cradle of Ancient Qi Culture-Zibo City of Shandong Province, Shandong University of Technology is, under the leadership of the People's Government of Shandong Province, a provincially prioritized university with a focus on science and engineering.

Ever since its founding over 50 years ago, in light of the motto "integrity, learning, commitment and perfection" and in the spirit of "selfless dedication and striving for excellence", the university has cultivated great numbers of high-level professionals for the society.
